Project Manager for Life Cycle Management and Market Expansion
With the ambition to further strengthening our Project Execution capabilities, we are now expanding with a Project Manager to lead projects focused on Life Cycle Management & Market Expansion, typically projects with a great focus towards process/documentation change projects for products launched in the market, and/or entering new markets.
You will join our Project Execution Unit with a Director and 8 experienced Project Managers. The position will play a key role delivering on our business strategy, improving quality and compliance of products in the surgery market, working closely with VPs and executive management team. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with our commercialization- and innovation partner and you will play an integral role in maintaining the strong and crucial relationship with our partner.
Projects are managed in a matrix organization, according to a stage gate project model, influenced by agile principles, e.g., project team co-location, rapid learning cycles etc.
Your role
The role requires a strong project leader capable of driving projects successfully to delivery on target, but also to be part of developing our processes and product life cycle management.
As Project Manager at FeMD:
- You will work in a highly strategic function.

And some of your responsibilities will be
- Leading life cycle management and/or market expansion projects.
- Driving, planning and executing effectively across the assigned project.
- Leading the project team to bring structure and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
- Ensuring continuous improvement and development of the assigned project.
- Reporting to your internal and external project stakeholders.
- Managing resource planning, follow up, project finances etc. to manage the total delivery
- Leading the delivery of product documentation and regulatory requirements.
About you
The position calls for an experienced and skilled Project Manager, ideally including strong proficiency in working in a PMO and matrix setting. Additionally, superior communication, stakeholder management and service skills are of the essence, while people management experience is an advantage. Other than that, you probably have
- Minimum B.Sc. – ideally a degree at M.Sc. level.
- Experience with life cycle management and/or market expansion projects from a highly regulated industry such as e.g., biotech, pharma, medical devices or similar.
- Experience as Project Manager, consultant, or leader with international stakeholder management
- Experience from a similar role leading and managing projects
- Ability to think strategically ahead and anticipate consequences in projects
- Track record of creating superior project management delivery.
- Fluent English both verbally and in writing.
