CMC Development - R&D CAPEX Investment The project portfolio in R&D is growing and there is a need for more Project Managers to drive it. The portfolio spans widely from rebuilding existing facilities, installation of sophisticated process equipment to greenfield projects in Denmark and abroad. Have you gained experience within CapEx investment projects as a key project resource in an inhouse project organisation or from a Consultancy, Engineering or Architectural company? Do you have a strong track record of managing projects within in a highly regulated environment, like i.e laboratories, hospitals, pharmaceutical production? Are you able to understand complex matters, manage stakeholder communication and meet project targets on time, scope and economy? Then you might be our new (Senior) Project Manager. The Position Your primary responsibility will be to drive CapEx investment projects that will lead to significant optimisation and improvements, e.g., by establishing new critical civil infrastructure or key installation for processing. You will drive a project team of internal and external suppliers to ensure successful project execution as per the agreed project goals. The position is placed in Bagsværd/Søborg, Denmark. Your key responsibilities will be: Project Management - manage investment projects across various functional areas within the R&D area by using project management methodology and applying project planning tools/programs and cLEAN® approaches with focus on scope, economy, progress and schedule to secure project goals.
Stakeholder Management and Communication - interact and communicate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of expectations and support throughout the projects. Ensure close collaboration across the organisation and within the project team. Present relevant and timely updates on project status for all relevant stakeholders, including Senior Management in terms of alignment and priority of deliverables with focus on progress, issues and needed decisions.
Qualifications You have a B.Sc/M.Sc. or other relevant background in a relevant field (e.g., project management, business administration, etc.). Furthermore, the optimal candidate has: Substantial experience (+ 5 years) in doing CapEx investments projects in a controlled environment Preferably pharmaceutical experience and documented knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Experience with collaboration and communication in an international environment Experience in working with engineering services suppliers, contractors and equipment manufactures English language proficiency - high standard in both written and spoken. As a person you are a visionary initiator that enjoys working under tight deadlines in a joint team effort. You have a high drive to empower a team to deliver high quality results and like to keep focus on continuous improvement of processes and standards. In addition, you have a proven ability to inspire and motivate others, along with great communication skills and power of influence. Finally, you can work and negotiate independently.

R&D CAPEX Investment Management, manages the project portfolio of Novo Nordisk CapEx investment in R&D. We are a team of 9 colleagues anchored in CMC Development and are based in Bagsværd, Denmark. Responsibilities of the department includes Project Management, leading strategy discussions and decision-making processes to effectively lead internal partners, Portfolio Management for R&D and project controlling. We have key stakeholders cross Novo Nordisk with internal work groups in the CMC Business. As a team, we have professional experience from the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry, mainly within Project Management.
