The position
As the Product Director for a suite of digital products supporting clinical study management, you will have overall responsibility for COSMOS - a modern, cloud-based SaaS platform that enables uniform working, ensuring better planning, tracking, quality, and execution of clinical studies with global processes. COSMOS integrates three Veeva Vaults: Study Start-up, Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS), and electronic Trial Master File (eTMF).
COSMOS is a crucial infrastructure for generating value in the digital and process ecosystem, enhancing the overall efficiency of the clinical organization. It shares data with more than 40 digital products within Novo Nordisk. Therefore, a well-functioning COSMOS system and integrations are essential to significant parts of the organization.
You will play a critical role in ensuring the success of COSMOS and enhancing the overall efficiency of the organization. Furthermore, your key responsibilities include: Oversee the delivery of a suite of products supporting clinical study management ensuring that the products deliver on key value drivers defined together with the business units. Engage with key leaders to ensure that the vision, strategy, and development of digital products in the suite are in alignment with business priorities. Ensure product management, design and agile best practices are implemented and followed. Continuously evaluate the performance and progress of the products, identifying areas for improvement. In this complex stakeholder landscape, you are expected to provide direction for the product suite by interacting with different parts of the global organization. This is an exciting opportunity to maximize efficiency through user feedback-driven optimization, empowering users to utilize COSMOS to its full potential, and contributing to transforming the process and digital ecosystem around COSMOS.
Qualifications
To thrive and succeed, you have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Science, or a related field combined with: Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management of digital products and/or clinical development experience. At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably within a large organization. Digital mindset, preferably with a deep understanding of clinical study management. Proven track record of driving digital transformation processes and leading change management, while adopting a user-centric approach. Agile mindset combined with some knowledge of principles, methodologies, events, and/ or tools would be a great asset but not a pre-requisite. Fluency in written and oral English The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent stakeholder management abilities in a complex and global environment, and outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written. Additionally, would be able to think strategically, with a user-centric perspective, and understand the broader business objectives. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential.

In Clinical Drug Development Digital Transformation, we lead the digitalization of clinical development to bring more innovative medicine to more patients faster. We drive the discovery and development of a portfolio of digital products ranging from large clinical trial management systems over data insights products to solutions enabling risk-based quality management. Our portfolio consists of solutions we build in-house as well as solutions from vendors. We have a razor-sharp focus on digital product management and product design to ensure that the products we create are desirable, feasible, and viable.
