Summary:
We are looking to strengthen our IT Department with Endpoint Security Administrator. You will be based in Copenhagen, joining a team of diverse professionals.
You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining endpoint security solutions to protect the organization's IT infrastructure and data. What can you expect in an Endpoint Security Administrator at Scandinavian Tobacco Group?
- Endpoint Security Management: Deploy, configure, and maintain endpoint security solutions such as antivirus, anti-malware, intrusion prevention systems, data loss prevention, and endpoint encryption.
- Threat Detection and Incident Response: Monitor endpoint security systems to identify potential security breaches, vulnerabilities, or malware infections. Take appropriate action to investigate and respond to security incidents.
- Security Auditing and Compliance: Conduct periodic security audits and assessments of endpoint systems to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security standards and regulations. Generate reports and recommendations for remediation.
- Security Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of endpoint security systems, configurations, procedures, and incident response plans. Keep documentation up to date with changes and improvements.
- Security Tool Evaluation: Research and evaluate new endpoint security technologies, tools, and solutions. Make recommendations for improvements or enhancements to the existing security infrastructure.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise (that matter the most for this role):
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience of working with Microsoft Intune is a must.
- Danish language.
- Proven experience as an Endpoint Security Administrator or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of endpoint security technologies, such as Microsoft Intunes, antivirus, anti-malware.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Experience with security incident response and forensic investigation.
- Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation and security-related tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
