We are looking for an experienced back-end developer to join our development team. You will be responsible for the server side of our web applications.
If you have excellent programming skills and a passion for developing applications or improving existing ones, we would like to meet you. As a back-end developer, you’ll work closely with our engineers to ensure system consistency and improve user experience.
Ultimately, you should be able to develop and maintain functional and stable web applications to meet our organisation’s needs.

Salary and appointment terms
Terms of appointment and payment according to the Agreement between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Danish Federation of Professional Associations (AC) or any other relevant collective agreement the OAO-S Joint Agreement and the organization agreement for IT employees (Prosa) in the service of the state.
The position is for 30 hrs/week.

The Danish National Life Science Supercomputing Center, Computerome is a HPC Facility specialized for Life Science. Users include Research groups from all Danish Universities and large international research consortiums as well as users from industry and the public Health Care Sector. Role and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including system engineers and software architects to design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems.
- Utilize your expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS to create efficient and scalable APIs, microservices, and server-side components.
- Apply your knowledge of containers and virtualization to ensure seamless deployment and orchestration of backend services.
- Take ownership of the infrastructure aspects of the projects, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and uphold high coding standards.
- Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in backend development, infrastructure, and virtualization.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and experience with the NestJS framework.
- Strong understanding of containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with infrastructure concepts, including networking, and server architecture.
- Proven track record of developing and deploying backend systems that are efficient, scalable, and maintainable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
- A proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
