In this role, you will take part in developing software solutions that enable us to capitalise on the key opportunities within our manufacturing processes – whether it be increasing efficiency, decreasing process deviations or enable higher output quality.
As a Backend Developer in Manufacturing Intelligence, you will:
• Build the backend side of web applications and general server-side programming
• Work alongside Front-End developers and Data Engineers/Scientists to create products
• Turn user requirements into design choices and suggestions
• Test and maintain backend architecture
• Create, manage and interact with databases
Qualifications
We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications:
• A couple of years of full-time experience working within Backend development or general software development
• Strong proficiency in Python programming and/or Typescript (ideally both)
• Experience working with version control such as Git
• Experience within database management and proficiency in SQL
• Good communication skills and strong team player (willing to receive and give feedback during sparring sessions)
It would be an advantage if you have:
• Experience working with AWS
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines While the ideal candidate will meet all of our qualifications, we are very aware that a motivated candidate can learn new skills that they may be lacking. About the department
The position is anchored in Manufacturing Tech & Innovation (MT&I) in the area Manufacturing Development & QC, whose key mission is to redefine our manufacturing approach by creating a fully data driven and continuous process for oral tablet formulation and optimise the manufacturing production and analysis from end to end. We aim to create a new paradigm that will alter the approach to drug development by redesigning and digitalising the processes.
The team consist of approx. 29 highly skilled colleagues with different scientific backgrounds ranging from Product Managers, Product Owners, Data scientist/Engineers, Front-end developers and UI/UX designers. With the rapid advancement within data and analytics, we are expanding our team and bringing in new competences and skills. Our ambition is to be the frontier, use the latest techniques and software to draw greater insights and future predictions from the data and thus making a significant impact on how we manage the future manufacturing operation.
