The Position As a Senior Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Project Manager you will be assigned to specific projects driving the execution of our commitments to the markets. The projects you will be involved in will be closely linked to the outcome of the S&OP process and typically characterized as a concrete supply/demand gap that needs cross-functional alignment. A concrete example could be that based on constraints in the supply chain and the decision made on senior management level, the establishment of a task force is needed, to ensure that agreed initiatives on both production and commercial side is met. Hence, your abilities to facilitate the process from issue to solution while orchestrating the tasks among the project team members to drive progress will be key. This will further entail development and communication of plan, milestones and risks to key stakeholders and/or steering group. Furthermore, you could also see yourself in projects concerned with optimization of current processes either as lead or member. Regardless, of which project type you will be assigned to you can expect vast exposure and high need for strong collaboration with stakeholders across the Novo Nordisk supply chain functions. Qualifications You have a master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or similar that is supplemented with: Minimum of 3+ years relevant work experience from an industry leading company or a top consultancy Solid business understanding combined with hands-on experience from problem solving, ideally from Supply Chain or Operations Our ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with an innovative approach to problem solving and outside-the-box thinking. Yet you have a sharp eye for details, a strong analytical mind and appreciate a firm and consistent structure. You are known for your strong drive, ability to create results and you have an international mind-set. You have excellent collaboration skills, and you communicate clearly and concisely. You can adapt your approach quickly depending on the situation as you will work and communicate with people from across the organisation from planners to senior management. Finally, you are fluent in English. About the Department The department is part of the Supply Chain Mid-term Planning anchored in the central Supply Chain unit. We are responsible for launches of new products and tactical/strategic S&OP, where we ensure supply chain resilience & network optimisation for Novo Nordisk. We are a diverse group of around 40 colleagues from seven different nationalities with various educational backgrounds. We are on an exciting journey to take the global S&OP process to the next level. You will be part of a newly established team driving the process excellence and standardisation of the core elements going into our tactical planning process. The ambition is to ensure robust and clear processes to drive transparency and support the increasing complexity to our business and stakeholder landscape for the benefit of our millions of patients.
