The Digital Supply Chain Transformation and Strategy team is an international team consisting of ~10 employees with different backgrounds. The team collaborates across functions within and outside the Supply Chain domain.
The team has been established to support strategy development and execution, and manage the large and increasingly complex digital project portfolio. Our ambition is to ensure digital transformation in Novo Nordisk’s supply chain, and that the supply chain is operating with the most cutting-edge technologies and digital processes. We deliver on this ambition by scouting new technologies, developing an ambitious digital transformation and portfolio strategy, and implementing monitoring systems so that we know that we are on track.The Digital Supply Chain and Transformation and Strategy team is one of 7 teams in the Digital Supply Chain organisation, anchored within Global Supply Chain in Novo Nordisk Product Supply Division in Bagsværd. The team reports into the VP of Digital Supply Chain.The position
As a digital strategy manager, you will help the team support and drive the overall strategy and project portfolio for Digital Supply Chain. The portfolio consists of bigger programmes such as implementation of ERP and planning systems, building out of Digital Twins, and Control Towers.
You will develop, implement, maintain, and follow-up on the digital transformation strategy and the digital supply chain project portfolio. Another key contribution will be to engage in cross-functional stakeholder interaction at all levels to ensure management support and focus – continuously striving for alignment with key stakeholders and knowledge sharing on progress. We do this to ensure awareness and visibility of benefit realisation, and linkages to business objectives and key results.In addition, you will:Develop presentations, portfolio dashboards, and communication materials that will have a wide use in the organisation. You will support in collecting and report status from projects across the portfolio, as well as developing business cases for new projects. You will develop methods, frameworks, and other material to support the portfolio execution. Identify and help mitigate risks associated with the implementation of new technologies and processes. Be up to date of emerging trends and technologies in supply chain management and make recommendations for continuous improvement as well as expand our knowledge base across the organisation. Be responsible for communication and awareness of Digital Supply Chain initiatives across the organisation through different communication channels. Develop and maintain project management frameworks, methodologies, and tools to manage supply chain projects across the organisation One of the responsibilities also include facilitating project governance meetings and ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures, and mentor and coach project managers to ensure adherence to best practices and project management methodologies for discovery- as well as implementation processes.Qualifications
We expect you to have an education within a relevant discipline e.g., business or IT product management with +7 years of experience. To succeed in this position, it is of key importance to have strong stakeholder management experience along with relevant supply chain understanding.
Preferably, you have previous experience as a management consultant, or from a similar strategy position in another large organisation.
In addition, and to succeed in this role, you need to have:Demonstrated experience in leading digital transformation initiatives within a large organisation. Worked with digital strategy development, portfolio management, and portfolio monitoring. Strong analytical skills with experience in using data to drive business decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions and levels within the organisation. Experience in change management, project management, and risk management. It is crucial to possess the knowledge of supply chain technologies, processes, and systems and advanced analytics tools and have previously established or worked in a highly efficient project organisation.

You thrive in a dynamic and international environment with numerous tasks and changing priorities, while staying focused on details and managing deadlines.
