Would you like to play a key role in our Corporate Secretariat providing senior level administrative support to the Board of Directors of Novo Nordisk and contribute to key corporate governance processes? Do you have an eye for delivering high-quality results in a structured and timely manner? Then this is your chance as we are looking for a dedicated Board Assistant to join our team. The department You will be part of the Corporate Secretariat consisting of nine colleagues. We aim to provide best-in-class corporate governance processes and services and we value a positive and inclusive working culture. The Corporate Secretariat is part of Global Legal & Patents, and you will report to the VP of the Corporate Secretariat. The role You will be involved in preparing and coordinating board and board committee meetings (including two annual off-site meetings), executing board and corporate governance processes and maintaining documentation, coordinating complex calendars and scheduling meetings, as well as supporting day-to-day administrative tasks. In addition, you will independently assist the members of the Board of Directors with coordination of meetings, travel bookings and settling travel expenses. You will work closely with the VP of the Corporate Secretariat and the members of the Corporate Secretariat team. Further, you will interact with senior management members and colleagues from across the global Novo Nordisk organisation, as well as the members of the Board of Directors and their personal assistants. You will gain extensive experience with a wide variety of administrative tasks, a unique group of stakeholders and a rare insight into the global Novo Nordisk organisation. To thrive and succeed in the role, we expect that you have:
  • Previous experience in an administration role (+3-5 years), preferably supporting senior level stakeholders as a department/personal assistant or coordinator
  • Strong time management, structure and organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise competing and changing tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to communicate with a range of diverse audiences and establish good working relations
  • High-level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Flexible mindset
  • Speak and write English fluently
  • Good IT-skills, including experience with Microsoft tools (Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and it is an added plus if you have experience with Concur, ICE and Directors Desk.
  • On a personal level, you are known for your proactive, service-minded and can-do attitude when dealing with tasks. Moreover, you have a structured and practical approach to your tasks enabling you to deliver your work in due time. Contact
