The position You will join a young and ambitious team consisting of Finance Partners, Graduates, and Student assistants and work closely together with another student assistant and a colleague located in India with the primary objective of supporting the R&D Finance team as well as the global finance organisation on various tasks within finance processes and systems. This includes tasks related to financial planning, financial systems, and support on Business Intelligence dashboards as well as preparing and presenting relevant presentation material to stakeholders. As you become more experienced you will get the opportunity to work as a dedicated Finance Partner to a part of the R&D organisation. In addition to the above, you will also be asked to support ad-hoc tasks across the team as needs arise or as you develop in your role. The position is planned for 15-20 hours/week and will be flexible around exam schedules. Qualifications You are currently at the beginning of your Master’s degree or at the end of your Bachelor’s with a primary focus on Finance or Economics. It is important that you demonstrate a passion for working at Novo Nordisk and driving change for patients with chronic diseases. You must be able to communicate in English at a professional level as you will be engaging with many colleagues around the global finance organisation. Finally, you should be curious and have the ability to handle different priorities at the same time. About the department The R&D Finance department is part of Business Finance and is the finance partner with the Research & Development organisation in Novo Nordisk. The team’s overall goal is to support decision-making and drive efficient financial processes resulting in a value-focused resource allocation to drive innovation for patients. The team delivers on this ambition by matching strong finance knowledge and partnering skills with insights into business strategy and the R&D value chain.
