The role and its responsibilities
One of the top priorities within our Global Supply Chain organization is to ensure a successful delivery of our End-to-End Planning Transformation Program – Planning4Future. This is to ensure Supply Chain can support the ambitious plans ahead for Novo Nordisk. The program includes the successful implementation of the advanced planning software OMP as well as the design and implementation of our new operating model and planning processes. This is a multiyear engagement, and we have 2-3 years to go until full completion. By then everything from demand planning all the way to, S&OP, S&OE as well as planning of components will be part of the integrated planning system.You will be driving the transformation towards success of the program
Key responsibilities for your role will be:Overall responsible for delivery of scope and timeline for the program Overall responsible to ensure stakeholder buy in and readiness Contribute to end-to-end supply chain solution strategically as well as operationally Overall budget responsible for the program Leader of leaders for 2 strong teams plus a large program team across IT and impacted business areas. You will work in the Digital Supply Chain team reporting directly to the Vice President, Digital Supply Chain. This organization belongs to the Global Supply Chain organization and work closely with our manufacturing teams and the Digital, Data and IT organization.Qualifications
Overall, we are looking for a candidate with great leadership skills, who can manage and build partnerships with stakeholders across Novo Nordisk who can continue our key planning program to ensure we have a strong operational planning setup in our global supply chain.
To excel in this role you have:Master’s degree in Supply chain, Finance Business, or another relevant field Strong Leadership Skills Exceptional stakeholder management competences 15+ in leadership or project management positions responsible for large transformations Ability to collaborate in a very diverse organization Solid understanding of the end-to-end supply chain and preferably of the life science industry As a person you have a high level of energy, a positive mind-set and are open towards other people and new ideas. You thrive in a dynamic and international environment with numerous tasks and changing priorities, while staying focused on details and managing deadlines. You can work in a structured and independent manner and are ready to push the agenda forward. You must be fluent in English, both written and oral.About the department
The Digital Supply Chain Planning Transformation team is an international team consisting of ~12 employees with different backgrounds, collaborating cross-functionally with colleagues within and outside the Supply Chain domain. In addition to the employees in the direct reporting line there is a huge team of consultant and stakeholders in other business areas directly tied to the project.The purpose of this department is to ensure a successful delivery of the Planning 4 Future program established to enable a best-in-class Supply Chain Planning capability to be able to support the overall growth and increasing complexity of our portfolio.Our ambition is to ensure we always delivery value and can move the overall supply chain capability towards our future ambition.The Planning Transformation department is one of 7 teams in the Digital Supply Chain organization that is anchored within Global Supply Chain in Novo Nordisk Product Supply Division.
