The newly established ‘PSQIT - Business Integration’ Department will be strengthening the production and manufacturing capacities at Novo Nordisk through M&A, while also enhancing the overall M&A readiness. As an Executive Assistant (EA), you will report directly to the Director of PSQIT Deal Sourcing and be expected to take part in shaping the new role. The new EA should however expect to:
  • Provide strategic sparring and executive support to the Corporate Vice President of PSQIT Business Integration in various initiatives, meetings and events.
  • Support the PSQIT leadership team with data analysis, governance maturity, team finances, business intelligence, decision making and business transformation activities.
  • Engage with stakeholders across the organization to get an understanding of local processes, challenges, opportunities and needs.
  • Proactively engage in identifying improvement opportunities and facilitating change.
  • Lead the deployment of a PSQIT Business Integration strategic priorities.
  • Project Management support on driving transaction projects from initial scouting towards a potential signing.
  • You will be responsible for supporting on team and managerial level and you will be an active member of the management team. Therefore, you must be able to prioritise own tasks and work independently and we expect you to be forward-looking. You will use your curiosity to drive new initiatives, improve processes, and bring forward ideas for improvement that will benefit both colleagues and managers in their daily work.The position offers great opportunities for utilizing your personal skills and experiences and for personal and professional development.Qualifications
    While prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry or M&A is not mandatory, the ideal candidate should possess:
  • A relevant MSc. degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in:
    • Project Management: Planning initiatives, engaging stakeholders, and delivering results.
    • Business Intelligence: Collecting data, deriving insights, and presenting recommendations to different types of stakeholders.
    • Stakeholder Management: Driving change, preferably in a heavily regulated industry.
    • Strategic Sparring: Providing counsel to senior stakeholders, ideally within complex organizations.

  • Experience in M&A and/or Life Sciences is considered an advantage.
  • On a personal level you have high level of integrity, are openminded and curious, and therefore constantly on the lookout for how to improve processes. You have a can-do attitude and enjoy working according to tight deadlines. You are a team player, a fast learner with an ability to drive change, and you utilize your relationships with stakeholders to achieve success in your projects and tasks.In Novo Nordisk, we value diversity among our employees.
