We are currently looking to recruit a structured and experienced Client Relationship Manager to join our global Investor Relations & Business Development team.

The Team


The Client Relationship Management team (CRM) is part of our global Investor Relations & Business Development team in CIP. The CRM team is in an operational perspective responsible for managing the entire investor engagement journey which includes organizing and coordinating all investor facing activities such as for example investor events, roadshows and due diligence meetings and supporting the global distribution team with relevant investor insights and other information. The team is one-point-of-contact for the clients within all operational issues. The team also oversees CRM system management and communication with investors and internal stakeholders and in general manages a broad range of tasks within investor relations across CIP.

CIP has grown significantly over the past years, hence we are now also growing and expanding the CRM team to further establish and improve our investor engagement and investor experience and create the necessary CRM strategies that enable us to manage a growing investor base on a global scale. The team is headed by Manager Marlene Hørberg Lyster, whom you will be reporting into.

The Investor Relations & Business Development team covers all interactions with investor relations and business development activities from product and fund development to fundraising and investor engagement. The team is an international and diverse team consisting of ~40 professionals from different backgrounds, including investment banking, management consulting, and law firms, based in 6 offices across Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia.

The Role and Expectations


As a Client Relationship Manager, you will be highly involved in all operational aspects of the investor journey from initial relationship building, fundraising activities and investor engagement and communication. You will get exposure to all aspects of our business as we collaborate with all teams in CIP and the global presence of our company offers a large interface throughout the organization as we work both cross functionally and globally. You will have a central and coordinating role in the organization with a wide variety of responsibilities and challenges.

Your responsibilities are within the operational perspective and consist of but are not limited to:

  • Support the distribution team with investor briefings, investor reporting, investor analysis, preparation of pitch material, and similar.
  • Organize and coordinate regional and global investor meetings and events, including CIP’s annual investor day, regional investor days, site visits, conference activities, roadshows and webinars.
  • Manage both internal and external stakeholders through timely and structured planning and preparation and timely and accurate communication. Internal stakeholders include the Partner Group and other teams in CIP. External stakeholders include investors and external service partners.
  • Build structures and processes for a growing global team and investor base (e.g. smarter systems and processes for capturing investor insights, scalable model for event execution on a global basis, knowledge sharing and coordination across teams).
  • Prepare and distribute relevant material, newsletters, and other investor communication (e.g. webinars and videos) to investors.
  • Participate in managing and coaching team members.

Your Profile


We are looking for a candidate with a relevant Bachelor’s degree, ideally with minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience from a position in a top tier asset manager, banking, consulting, private equity, or a large international company.

  • Structured, thorough and with a high attention to detail.
  • Solid project management, stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment across a wide range of work streams/projects with constantly shifting priorities.
  • Ability to drive administrative processes and projects proactively and independently.
  • Curious and creative mindset with the ability to think out of the box and question the status quo.
  • Resilient, service minded and positive can-do attitude with a strong desire to work in a growing international organization.
  • Motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic team player who is proactive and resourceful.
  • Strong collaborator with the ability to develop and maintain relationships within and across teams.
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent user of both Excel and PowerPoint and a dedicated digital approach.
