As we embark on this journey, the role as Customer Data Manager will offer you great opportunities for professional and leadership development. You will be responsible for setting up a value driven customer data strategy, capturing customer data needs from internal stakeholders that will allow us to excel in understanding our customers. You will define the centralized data management process for Customer data (including 3rd party data) and will actively contribute to the customer data foundations at Maersk in a challenging ecosystem. You will lead a team of 1-2 data analysts and coach and foster collaboration.

Key responsibilities:

Designing and managing governance processes to ensure robust information is captured, well defined, and applied in core systems
Oversee Customer Data collection, Data quality and Data processes from Data acquisition through Data consumption
Tight collaboration with business users to understand customer data needs and guide and assess impact to deliver the strategy. Strong collaboration with Customer Master Data department and close participation in specification of Customer Data requirements
Orchestration of all the involved stakeholders/business owners to maximize data value creation, with a very entrepreneurial spirit and strong business acumen
Work closely with business teams across Maersk to understand the problem and solution space
Improve data reliability and quality
Support data-based innovative use cases that leverage a broad data spectrum
Participate in Customer Master Data initiatives being the voice of Sales & Marketing business users

What are we looking for:

Data Analytics professional with solid experience with Data project Management and Data governance
Master's degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering or related field
Strong background in Data Engineering, Solution Architecture and Data Strategy and data governance processes
Experienced in Microsoft Azure stack for data pipelines and analytical tooling; Data bricks and Power BI (or other visualization tool)
Strong experience with data flows, data architecture and proven experience on data governance and data lifecycle, preferably in a B2B environment
Strong ability to present and enlighten others about your findings, at the top and bottom of the organization
Customer obsessed & Service Oriented with commercial awareness and strong business acumen
A track record in change management through communication and data-based decision making capabilities
