As part of the vision to become the global integrator of container logistics, Maersk has redesigned its People Function service delivery, operating model and technology in order for the People Function to become a truly global function and deliver outstanding employee experience.
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who can navigate a vast stakeholder landscape, drive cross-functional projects and complex initiatives to join the team for a maternity cover.

In this position you will play a critical role in the establishment of our way of working, integration and transformation of our People Function into a global function for Maersk brands across 130+ countries.

Ideally you will be based in Copenhagen – but for the right candidate other location will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
You will own and run different projects by applying the Platform Operating Model framework end-to-end and be responsible and build the project plan through to execution and hyper care, driving and coordinating activities.
You will provide progress updates against the agreed plan and proactively supervise risks and mitigations.
You will also drive new cross functional initiatives.
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate is a dedicated Project Manager with a proven outcome-focused mentality, preferably combined with experience supporting and/or delivering HR projects, including integration planning and execution.
You have experience of working with large, diverse and distributed teams across multiple time-zones.
Experience in implementing HR technologies and platforms like Workday is an advantage.
Furthermore you:
- Are structured, proactive and collaborative, and have an ability to lift beyond functional needs to the bigger picture and results
- Are a confident and effective communicator at all levels of a global organization with excellent stakeholder management skills that allow you to move projects efficiently across various parts of the business
- Are fluent in English - Written and spoken English fluency is a prerequisite for this position.
- Preferably, have demonstrated knowledge of HR functions & processes
- Preferably, have project management and/or agile certifications.
