Then, we have the ideal opportunity for you since Quality Control (QC) at AGC Biologics is looking for a quality-minded Team Leader for our LIMS Team.
About the department
AGC is growing - we are building a new facility next to our existing facility in Søborg. To support the expansion of the QC laboratories, we are also expanding our QC LIMS Team.
The QC organization consists of 160 dedicated colleagues in five departments: Bioassay, Chemistry, Microbiology, Support, and Planning & Systems.
The QC LIMS Team is first line of support for our LabWare LIMS system. The Team is responsible for updating and maintaining analysis and product specifications in LIMS, maintaining SOP’s related to the LIMS system, and reviewing qualification documents.
Role and Responsibilities
As Team Leader of QC LIMS, you will be managing a team of 5 experienced and dedicated employees. You will act as an inspiring sparring partner to your team and coach and empower your employees to deliver excellent results beside of taking responsibility for their professional and personal development.
You will report to the Director of QC Planning & Systems and be part of the QC Planning & Systems’ management team
Your primary tasks will be:
- People management, incl. coaching, performance, and development of direct reports
- Recruitment
- Ensure all activities are compliant with cGMP
- Provide scientific input and guidance
- Lead continuous improvement projects
- Support regulatory inspections and customer audits
Qualifications
You hold a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, engineering or a related discipline. Additionally, you have managerial experiences, and it is natural for you to set direction and motivate your employees to follow your lead.
In addition, we expect you to bring the following experience and characteristics:
- Experience as manager from similar position
- Demonstrated talent to motivate a team, ensure a good working environment and at the same time deliver high-quality results
- Demonstrated experience with LabWare LIMS
- Flair for and interest in working with IT
- Experience working in a GMP environment and knowledge of relevant guidelines
- Has a quality-minded and structured mindset
- Good communication skills and a service-minded attitude
- Able to quickly obtain the overview of multiple tasks in challenged situations, can prioritize, and make quick and qualified decisions
- Proficiency in written and spoken English. Danish will be considered an advantage
