Sourcing is part of Kamstrup’s Supply Chain organization. Reporting to our Vice President, Sourcing, you will be heading a small, skilled, and ambitious team covering Kamstrup’s supplier quality and compliance management and be an integral part of the Sourcing Management team.
A job with focus on collaboration and ensuring supplier quality and compliance
As our new Head of Supplier Quality & Compliance you will become the driving force in proactively ensuring the quality of our sourced goods and services, both from existing and new suppliers. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards, specifications, and other requirements and for driving continuous improvement within supplier quality and development. You will have global responsibility for the supplier base and will be part of the Sourcing Management team, addressing both direct and indirect sourcing.
You will have the following main responsibilities:
In the job, you can expect 30-40 travel days per year.
Personality matters
We are looking for a Head of Supplier Quality and Compliance with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and with the ability to build strong relationships and collaboration, both internal and external. You have strong leadership and team management skills and a good understanding of cultural aspects and differences. You are structured and have a holistic mindset and you contribute to the continued success of Kamstrup through a data-driven and analytical approach, with focus on continuous improvement. You are results-oriented, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes together with your team, your colleagues, and the suppliers.
You have an academic background, Master’s degree preferred, focused on engineering and/or quality management. You have 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, and you have proven experience (5+ years) in supplier quality and development, incl. PPAP / APQP, and insight into relevant ISO, IAFT 16949 and IPC standards. You have experience from an international setting and strong knowledge of quality management systems, supplier auditing, and quality improvement tools.
It is a requirement that you speak and write English fluently. Danish will be an advantage.

You will have the following main responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a small competent team in DK and Asia
- Drive quality efforts towards suppliers in the Americas region, together with the US organization
- Manage your own portfolio of selected suppliers regarding supplier quality, compliance and development tasks
- Lead the further implementation of Supplier PPAP as part of Kamstrup’s APQP framework
- Drive supplier performance improvement through data-driven analysis, metrics, and engagement
- Contribute to the further development of our category management set-up
- Build a supplier quality framework for indirect sourcing categories
- Drive the improvement of our supplier quality and compliance best practices
