Are you our new Senior Director passionate about people leadership and delivering advanced technology that keeps people safe? And are you the key driver in merging our Antenna and Transceiver departments to set up a new organization ready to take on future challenges and opportunities?
What are your primary tasks and responsibilities?
Your task is to strengthen our technology, development, and sustainment efforts regarding our Radar Antennas and Transceivers based on a broad range of competences, e.g., systems, mechanical, electrical, and microwave engineering by implementing a high performance and innovation culture.
Also, you will be tasked with improving your main interfaces, both within TEC Radar and towards the Terma Radar value chain, e.g., product management, production, and customer services.
Finally, you will serve as a member of the TEC Radar Leadership Team, acting as a role model for Terma Leadership Behavior by following through, challenging with expertise, and having a positive attitude.
Key responsibilities include:
You will be delivery, technical, and people responsible for an organization of approximately 25 highly skilled and experienced employees and will be directing more than one team with a strong culture of dedication and loyalty to colleagues and Terma.
- Manage stakeholders and coordinate proactively with Radar Architects, the Radar End-2-End and Software departments, as well as Terma sales, product management, quality, supply chain, production, and customer services.
- Ensure best-in-class electrical and mechanical competencies linked with our core technology platforms, flexibility in terms of capacity, and diversity to foster high-performance teams
- Ensure that agreed deliveries meet all requirements, whether related to project management (scope, time, cost) or technically (performance, quality, compliance/safety).
- Drive the innovation culture, technology scouting, and activities relating to our technology roadmaps to minimize technical risk, maximize future business opportunities, and shorten time-to-market.
- Support improvement of our processes, tools, and technical data, to increase effectiveness and efficiency throughout our value chain.

How to succeed in this position?
The ideal candidate has a relevant Master of Science degree with extensive R&D experience and a proven track-record in leading highly technical teams. Also, full English proficiency is expected.
