As Data Management Specialist, you will understand how the complexity of HR data supports strategic HR within the transport and logistics business, while gaining broad business knowledge of the company’s activities globally.
You will be exposed to a wide and challenging range of workforce issues through regular engagement with key stakeholders throughout the People Function, working and communicating across geographical and cultural borders.

Key responsibilities
As a Data Management Specialist you’ll actively contribute to the People Function’s development and realizing its aspiration to be data-driven through implementing the principles of our data management strategy, proactively
driving the execution of actions that ensure data is integrated and fit-for-purpose on operational, reporting and analytics levels.
This means working on deliverables and projects in the realms of developing reporting services and products, abiding data ethics & privacy, defining metrics and mapping data lineage, defining and executing data quality controls, handling data access management, supporting security reviews, supporting technical data integrations, and general advisory to stakeholders regarding data availability and usage.
You will bring your People Function peers along on our journey by offering them opportunities to increase their general knowledge and level of comfort pertaining to available HR data, the pipeline for new data types, reporting & analytics tools, data access, and how to stay compliant with data privacy and protection legislation (e.g. GDPR).
Reporting to the Head of People Data & Analytics, you and your teammates will work very collaboratively and with a high degree of independence to execute the function’s strategy for the benefit of your internal customers. You will bring a unique skill set into the mix, and we will find all possible ways to leverage it and help you develop in other areas. Your input on how we should improve things will be welcomed - from increasing HR data quality & compliance, to adapting the way we tell stories with data for converting insight into action. You will also have the chance to influence and participate in important cross-functional projects, such as rolling out new reporting & analytics
tools, which would require close collaboration with e.g. Technology and Finance.
We are looking for
The ideal candidate will have a university degree and some experience working in an international organisation on global projects.
You have experience with databases / business intelligence & data management tools /data quality controlling and preferably some direct experience with: human capital management systems, automation software, analytical
software, training end user communities, and managing medium-complexity projects.
You have a passion for ensuring internal customers are satisfied and feel like valued partners.
You have:
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaborative skills – these are essential for our team!
- Analytical mindset, including the ability to translate complex issues into pragmatic solutions
- Quality mindset, including HR data literacy, a focus on ethics & privacy, and a very good eye for detail
- • Learning agility and problem-solving flair combined with natural initiative and curiosity
- Solid understanding and broad knowledge of HR, with an ability to learn fast and connect all the dots
- The ability to multi-task and deliver on competing priorities.
