Maersk is strengthening its User Experience (UX) designing capability. We are looking for a UX designer with strong communication skills and who is used to collaborate closely with different user groups. We have 5 platform portfolios today where you will join the Order to Agreement portfolio and particularly focus on our pricing solutions. The role is expected to collaborate with all teams under your platform, across portfolios and collaborate closely with the UX community of practice (CoP).

Our pricing solutions/applications are all mainly considered as internal applications. We expect you will work with our externally facing applications part of both the pricing and booking journeys. Our “internal” users like pricing managers are based in multiple locations across the world. Our “external” users are globally represented.

This role is part of one out of five portfolios that is responsible for several pricing solutions covering SPOT and product management, customer allocation, pricing data science to mention a few areas.

Key Responsibilities

· Responsible for establishment and standardization of UX components to be leveraged by solution delivery teams

· Responsible for scoping and planning of UX projects

· Responsible for setting up the system and the process to ensure optimal UX analysis and design can be achieved.

· Responsible for a meaningful presentation of information, organizational structure and the flow of user interface.

· Responsible for implementation of discovery and design workshops to visualize requirements

· Enables transformation of ideas, business opportunities, research and creative vision into desirable outcomes for our users

· Creates detailed wireframes, high fidelity mock-ups, information architecture diagrams, mental models, personas, usability testing stimulus, and site maps

· Plans and conduct interviews to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points

· Works closely with colleagues to brainstorm and create concepts for Web, Mobile, Tablet and Desktop environments

· Ability to clearly articulate both problems and proposed solutions

· Work closely with Design Community of Practice (CoP) to build a standardised UX processes and reusable UX elements

We expect you to:

· Fluency with design tools, most notably Figma (recommended), Sketch, Adobe XD, Invision, Axure RP, OmniGraffle, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and/or other UX and prototyping software.

· Experienced in leading a project from a UX Design perspective

· Knowledge of agile practices, design thinking, visual design, interaction design, information architecture, and design industry trends

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; ability to clearly articulate and communicate ideas with senior level management

· Must be well versed in the principles of design and fully comprehend the design elements to ensure user interface is usable in every sense.

· Experience in iterative product design planning and development

· Experience creating and working with design systems and/or UI pattern libraries.

· Ability to simplify and turn complex interactions into intuitive user experiences

· Experience with planning and facilitating usability testing

· HTML and CSS

You are a great communicator and an acknowledged team player with a high degree of personal integrity. You are able to lift the bar and energize people around you, while maintaining a strong personal drive and the ability to get things done.

Your ability to collaborate with others will be key, along with an ability to present and defend holistic concepts at the top and bottom of the organization.
