The position Novo Nordisk is scaling and entering new therapeutic areas and endeavours related to new collaboration models. Therefore, we are looking for a strong candidate to facilitate integration of Medical & Science (M&S) roles and responsibilities into contracts or processes in the most efficient manner. In this role, you will have responsibility to build a close and robust collaboration with our Business Development organisation (BD). If a BD activity matures, we need to secure a successful integration with the M&S organisation to draw the benefit of the agreement when needed. We have the therapy specialists so we need the person who can facilitate that the new activities are integrated to NN current process landscape. The job is founded on a solid understanding of what the key functions for M&S entail, insight to Quality Management System and an ability to translate this into the best collaboration model. In addition, your role will among others be as point of contact for management of Standard Operating Procedures for M&S. This is a key role and you will have the responsibility to ensure that processes are fit for purpose and in compliance. Again, an ability to work strategically with process management is key as strengthening of knowledge among the M&S Community may be needed. You will work into several global cross-functional teams within Novo Nordisk where your role is to represent the M&S Society either as stakeholder or as project lead. The job is based in Denmark and travel activity is limited, please expect less than 10 days per year. Qualifications We are looking for a candidate with in-depth understanding of the value chain of drug development and a genuine interest in process management. This means that you have experience from pharma/ MedTech industry and are well into project management methodologies. To successfully fulfil your role, you have an end-to end mindset and can apply a pragmatic approach to new situations. You are self-driven and are taking an active role in team collaborations as you know this is key for success. Since this is new territories a proactivity and ability to set direction are important skills. Minimum educational requirement is BSc and fluency in spoken and written Professional English. About the department M&S Centre of Expertise is part of Clinical Drug Development in Novo Nordisk. We aim to connect the M&S organization while driving scientifically sound medical deliverables across the Novo Nordisk project portfolio. We operate with a portfolio mindset supporting the Novo Nordisk overall strategy through cross-project initiatives and academic partnerships, to lead drug development to the benefit of people. Together with the projects, we ensure a high scientific standard and facilitate innovation in clinical trials. Moreover, the M&S CoE facilitate the onboarding and competency development for medical specialists and clinical pharmacology personnel across the M&S Society. In our department, Scientific Excellence, we are a team of 8 colleagues with very different backgrounds, both geographically, educationally, and way of thinking/ working, which we appreciate as it gives us good ground for discussion and feedback. We all work in different projects, some of the projects overlaps or feed into each other, therefore the cohesion link in the department is how we work more than the content.
