The position can be based in Denmark (Copenhagen or Aalborg). Working remotely from other sites requires extensive experience. The position Novo Nordisk has a clear purpose of driving change to defeat diabetes and other serious chronic diseases. To support this, a new Data science organisation has been established in which Pharmacometrics is anchored. Our vision is to ensure Novo Nordisk is a global healthcare leader powered by data, analytics, and digital technologies. We are therefore looking for strong modelling scientists to help us reach our goals. As Pharmacometrics modelling scientist, you will be part of multidisciplinary project teams where you will be responsible for PK/PD modelling plans and analyses across projects. You will play an important role in the development of new drugs at Novo Nordisk as the responsible person for designing, analysing, interpreting, communicating, and reporting pharmacometric information at all stages of clinical drug development. This includes: Modelling PK data from ongoing clinical programs
Performing exposure-response analysis of efficacy and safety data
Execute clinical trial simulations of new trials to be initiated
Presenting and guiding the project team on your results
Qualifications To thrive in this role you have: Minimum a Master´s degree, preferably a PhD, with expert knowledge in statistics, engineering, pharmacy or other relevant scientific disciplines.
Proficiency in pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PKPD), statistical methodology, and data interpretation combined with hands-on experience performing PKPD model-based analyses using R (and/or NONMEM).
In addition to this, it is beneficial if you have: Experience working with clinical trial data
Background from a similar position will be an advantage
Strong presentation and communication skills
Fluency in English both orally and written
About the department The Pharmacometrics department supports the entire Novo Nordisk development portfolio with model-based analyses and clinical trial simulations from planning and execution of first in human trials to registration. We are a team of dedicated modelling scientists with an important role in the development of new drugs at Novo Nordisk as responsible for designing, analysing, interpreting, communicating, and reporting pharmacometrics analysis at all stages of clinical drug development.
