The position As the Quality Director, you will be responsible for the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) for the Local Manufacturing unit and will be located in Tehran, Iran – while reporting back to your manager in Denmark. You will be part of an international management team working both virtually and face to face. In addition, you will be part of the site management team. Part of your everyday responsibilities will be to ensure the development of the Quality Organization and Quality Management System for assembly and packaging operations. Among others, key responsibilities will be:
  • Develop leaders and professionals in your unit
  • Ensuring QA policies, procedures and standards are implemented and adherent to Novo Nordisk guidelines
  • Building Novo Nordisk quality and compliance culture across your unit
  • Taking part and executing the quality strategy at Iran local manufacturing
  • Managing Quality Assurance and Quality Control Departments taking overall responsibility for Quality team
  • Collaborating with multiple stakeholders and site management
  • Drive cross site/organization GMP leadership
    • This role will allow you to oversee and manage highly complex quality issues in an international environment, also giving you the chance to make independent decisions representing Novo Nordisk Quality while making tremendous growth in your development. Qualifications We are looking for a robust leader that can bring extensive knowledge to our table, helping us in constantly grow as a leading international key player within the pharmaceutical industry. To succeed in this role, you have:
  • A B.Sc. in pharma, medicine, natural science, or other relevant fields
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
  • At least 5 years’ leadership experience
  • In-depth and proven knowledge of pharmaceutical quality, GMP and regulatory requirements
  • Good proficiency in English, both written and spoken
    • On a personal level you are a result-oriented leader that leads by example and brings the team together by coaching others helping them developing their own skills and abilities. You also encourage teamwork in an intercultural environment. Finally, you have great organizational skills while maintaining the ability to quickly change direction and adapt to new conditions when business priorities or customer requirements change. About the department LMT is an assembly and packaging site with 120 employees serving the Iranian market. The site is located 50 km outside Tehran. LMT has been in commercial production for two years. The quality department consists of QC and QA of a total 17 highly engaged employees ensuring the highest quality for the patients. You will have 4 direct reports: Associate Manager for QA, Team Leader for QC, Qualified person (QP) and a QP delegate.
