The Position We are looking for a skilled Project Manager to join our team and will be responsible for managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders. The position will have a primary focus on the continuous development across primarily data management and act as project lead on ongoing improvement initiatives of different kind. You will be empowered to proactively: Coordinate project team activities and ensure that deliverables are completed on time
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
Communicate project progress to stakeholders and leadership
Facilitate project meetings and lead smaller project teams
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion
We expect you to be a bridge-builder to key stakeholders across the Development area, and that you will work smoothly across organisational levels from leadership teams to end-users of the initiative you are driving as part of a continuous transformation of Data Management and relating Systems & Standards. Strategically we wish to focus efforts in developing our organization to handle the needs of the future with respect to way of working and systems. This is a maternity temporary cover with a duration of 12 months. Qualifications University degree (MSc/PhD) within Natural sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, IT or other relevant fields
Strong Project Management skills demonstrated within the scope of the position
Experience from the area of clinical drug development
Knowledge and familiarity to data science along with analytical techniques
Experience that demonstrates abstract reasoning skills, and the ability to evaluate diverse technological capabilities and apply them to improving processes
Fluency in oral and written English is essential
It will be a strong advantage if you have hands-on experience from a similar role connecting across skill areas. On a personal level, you are a team-oriented driver, who enjoys working both laterally and horizontally and across multiple disciplines. You are eager to see things moving forward and possess the drive to make things happen which has a positive and motivating effect on your stakeholders and team members. About the Department In the Novo Nordisk Development area, we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide, ensuring that the processes follow global standards, regulations and business ethics while still delivering viable and innovative products that make a significant difference to patients with serious chronic diseases and ultimately benefit society. Our department, Data Management Processes & Innovation, is part of Data Science and consists of 15 enthusiastic and highly engaged people with in-depth knowledge across Data Management processes, regulatory requirements, competency development, change management, innovation, automation, visualization, and digitalization tools. We collaborate across multiple skill areas and departments in areas such as automation projects, process improvements, change management and competency development to efficiently improve and advice the entire Data Management community which currently covers approx. 375 skilled colleagues across US, Spain, India, and Denmark.
