The position
In this position, you will join the area that is responsible for delivering Digital, Data and IT (DD&IT) solutions across our production sites and supply chain operations in Novo Nordisk. You will be the trusted advisor to the Corporate Vice President and his leadership team. You will be responsible for internal strategic communication across our global and diverse community of over 1,300+ employees located in Denmark, China, France, Brazil, US, and India. It is therefore important that you know how to tailor different messages to different audiences across various geographies and cultures. The range of tasks and responsibilities is broad, and you must be structured and able to ensure progress across a variety of priorities at the same time. Overall, you will be responsible for ensuring that our strategic initiatives are communicated effectively and timely to our key audiences. You should be able to translate complex and technical topics into compelling, short, and engaging stories and content.
Main responsibilities will include: Driving our annual communication activities including creating engaging digital content on our internal channels such as our intranet (SharePoint), newsletters, and SoMe channels (e.g. yammer) as well as on external platforms such as LinkedIn. Support and advise our leaders on communication challenges and possibilities and drive communication planning in relation to cross-organisational projects, events, and changes Frequently be engaging in smaller video production tasks as well as in different graphical design tasks, incl. design of SharePoint sites, newsletters, slides, digital flyers, GIFs, etc. within the visual identities of Novo Nordisk and DD&IT. Be a member of Novo Nordisk’s Global Communication Network and the communication Network for our Production area, and you will help promote and drive the global Novo Nordisk communication agenda within DD&IT.
Qualifications
You have an educational background in communication or journalism and a minimum of 2-3 years of documented experience as a professional communicator and advisor. Furthermore, you have: Excellent communication skills in advanced spoken and written English Great project management and change management skills Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Photoshop, and InDesign, as well as web and film production The ability to translate complex matters into simple messages Strong stakeholder management skills and you thrive in a fast-paced environment Keen interest in digital technologies and the interfaces between technology, people, and communication As a person, you are a true team player, and you enjoy working with colleagues at all levels and across the organisation. You bring new ideas into our work by identifying new trends and staying updated about best communication practices. It comes natural for you to build strong and trusted relationships with colleagues across the organisation, to stay on top of what is happening, and actively seek feedback from your many stakeholders. You are constructive, proactive and you thrive in a challenging and fast changing environment. No assignment is too big or too small for you to take on. About the DD&IT Communication Team You will report to the Head of Communication within DD&IT. The team consists of four communication partners. We are currently based in Bagsværd, Denmark, but we will move to our new tech campus in Ballerup by the beginning of next year. Moreover, we collaborate closely with colleagues across the globe, and our focus and responsibilities range from internal organisational communication, end user communication to 57,000 users, and external employer branding activities.
