Then apply now, as you might be the Risk Management Consultant we are looking for to join our Strategic Sourcing unit. The position One of our current top priorities in Strategic Sourcing is to further strengthen our focus on strategic risk mitigation across our core responsibilities for strategy, sourcing and contract management of our global external supply network. We are driven by minimizing risk of structural supply disruptions and applying strategic thinking in the context of geopolitical risk, climate change, and other current risk drivers. As a Risk Management Consultant, you will work closely with your colleagues in a Risk and Sustainability advisory team of 5 people, who together are setting the direction for Strategic Sourcing’s work with suppliers on the Risk and Sustainability agenda. You will be supporting stakeholders in category management departments across our unit to identify, assess, mitigate, and report on structural risks related to our upstream supply chain. Depending on your skills and preferences you may expect to be involved in: Establishing our position on primary sourcing risk drivers and provide sparring to category managers on how to best mitigate the risks Drive risk identification where risk scenarios are mapped against our upstream supply chain Conduct analysis and project management tasks related to strategic sourcing risk management Developing various training and communication materials for internal and external use Represent Strategic Sourcing in Enterprise Risk Management alignment and reporting. You can expect to work with a diverse set of stakeholders across Strategic Sourcing, suppliers, other sourcing units and corporate functions. Qualifications To be considered for this position, we expect you to: Hold a master’s degree in supply chain, procurement, business, engineering or any other related field Have a relevant experience from working with risk management or procurement project management, supply chain or business development in an international organization or a consulting company Be fluent in English, both written and spoken As a person, you enjoy working in a multicultural environment. You bring a ‘can-do attitude’ and a healthy sense of humor to work, even when the pressure is on. You are attention to detail, with the ability to plan ahead and deliver on time. About the department Strategic Sourcing is the central sourcing unit in Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply division. We are responsible for ensuring that we have suppliers in place that can support Novo Nordisk’s worldwide pharmaceutical production. Through collaboration with our international suppliers, we ensure availability of the supply needed to develop and produce products that help millions of people around the world to live with chronic diseases. You will be part of the Risk and Sustainability team within the Strategy & Business Intelligence department, where we drive cross-unit strategies and projects and contribute with value-adding specialist sparring on topics covering quality management, financial advisory, sustainability, commercial and market intelligence, and risk management to the other five departments in Strategic Sourcing. You will enter a thorough, yet fast-paced and ambitious environment, where we collaborate closely with stakeholders inside and outside Strategic Sourcing. You will be located in Bagsværd, Denmark, where 19 competent colleagues in the department look forward to welcoming you.
