The position As our new Travel Project Manager, you will be working with a team of 7 dedicated colleagues and with the most advanced travel solutions, to support travellers in Novo Nordisk. Additionally, you will participate in various projects related to the Travel area, having many different responsibilities. Furthermore, we expect you to drive projects and support the inhouse VIP travel function servicing our senior Executives and other key stakeholders in the Novo Nordisk organisation. Your primarily tasks will include a mix of project management and customer support, such as:
  • Participating in key projects to support the strategy agenda within the Travel department area.
  • Manage senior stakeholders across functions and at different levels inside and outside the company.
  • Support the Head of Travel with ad-hoc tasks and monthly deliveries.
  • Executive VIP support in the Novo Nordisk organisation.
  • Providing high quality service and advice for Novo Nordisk travellers and stakeholders, and managing traveller and company data, while educating them Concur Travel booking tool.
  • Collaborating with travel colleagues in an on-site travel team, and with key suppliers such as AMEX GBT and airline companies.
  • Beyond this, you will also participate in the continuous improvement of our Travel department’s activities, tools, systems, and processes in collaboration with other team members. Qualifications You have relevant experience within Project Management and have acquired skills and knowledge from different roles to understand the complexity to support senior Executives with travel bookings. Building and maintaining good working relationships is vital to this role, and the ideal candidate possesses excellent people skills as well as a profound understanding of quality, time, and stakeholder management. Furthermore, we like to see these traits in the ideal candidate:
  • Significant experience within project management from a large international organization.
  • Well-structured and analytical mind-set that enables you to conclude fast and efficiently.
  • A focus on continuous improvement of processes and systems is an inherent part of your working style.
  • Solid experience in Amadeus and Concur Travel on a proficiency level and knowledge of the travel industry are preferable and an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English and solid IT user skills.
  • In addition to this, we expect you to be a highly driven and curious professional always on the outlook to improve or expand your knowledge, be result-oriented and focused on deliveries of high quality at the right time, value end-user experience highly and finally, be able to work independently as well as together with the Travel team. About the department Travel is a part of the Conference Centres & Travel department, which consist of 40 employees based in Denmark. The Travel department is responsible for travel-related activities and driving the travel strategy for Novo Nordisk HQ & Nordics and we are service providers that values end-user experience highly.
