You will touch base with a wide variety of knowledge fields, such as R&D, GMP, Production facilities, Deviations, Quality Assurance, Health, and safety etc. We will make sure to give you a smooth onboarding course series within Lean.
About the position
As our new colleague your most prestigious job is to support the API production in the pilot plant conducted under GMP requirements. Our days are dynamic, they vary, and we are flexible as we are both working on scheduled projects and unplanned task to ensure that the production can run smoothly. We have a flexible work atmosphere as we are both working in the office and at home. You will become a part of a great support team of approx. 10 dedicated and competent colleagues. Our main responsibility is to ensure the uptime of process equipment in the production, hence mechanical knowledge would be an advantage.
As almost every production in our pilot plant is a unique project, it is rarely seen as a routine job to perform the related tasks, and it requires interdisciplinary collaboration with colleagues both within and outside of the department.
Qualifications
• You hold a degree as engineer or BSc/MSc within mechanics, electronics, production, chemistry, biotechnology or other relevant areas or you have a technical education with focus on mechanical aspects.
• It is an advantage, but not necessary with GMP knowledge.
• We are open to newly educated candidates, who are ready to join in on an intense learning journey.

About the department
In Chemistry Pilot Plant we are responsible for production of API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) to clinical studies, where chemical synthesis, chromatographic purification and spray drying is a part of the production. The department is a part of Chemistry, Manufacturing & Control API Pilots (CMC API Pilots) with approx. 300 employees, responsible for production of API for all the development projects within Novo Nordisk. This includes fermentation, cultivation, chemical synthesis and purification.
