Would you like to have an impact on making lives better for millions of people worldwide? Then you might be our new Project Director in Injectable Finished Products (IFP) Business Support. The Position The primary role of the Project Director role is to lead and integrate global IFP manufacturing supply chain projects of high complexity, while supporting our overall Global Supply Chain strategy. The projects you will be working on are to improve the synchronisation across our supply chain, with a focus on stabilizing processes, increasing robustness and overall maximizing our capacities for today and the future. As a Project Director, you collaborate closely with our global network of production sites and various stakeholders. It is important that you are good at optimising processes and systems via challenging, improving and changing methods and techniques and have experience working within supply chain and on supply chain projects. In this role, a high degree of independence is required as you will represent and make decisions that will impact the entire SVP area within the areas of Supply Chain, covering the areas of Planning, Logistics and Distribution. Further, you will be reporting directly to the VP of IFP Business Support. Qualifications To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

A degree at minimum master’s level preferably with commercial, economic, scientific or engineering focus.

At least 10 years of relevant experience with project management as well as process management and optimization within pharmaceutical and supply chain.

Understanding of organisational structure, performance management and incentive structure

Fluency in the English language, oral and written.

Proficiency in using PC tools (PowerPoint and Excel)

Facilitation skills and experience leading global networks

As a professional you have strong networking skills and work closely together with your stakeholders to reach our goals. You are good at establishing relations, communicating clearly at all levels of the organization and across many functional areas. and have a high integrity and robustness that enable you to integrate different views in your decision-making process. Having said that, we expect that you can stay firm when needed in the context of a dynamic environment. A high level of flexibility is a big part of the job as a Project Director. You will have some but limited travel between our sites in Denmark: Hillerød, Kalundborg and Bagsværd where you will be based. Some travel activities should be expected to our production sites in Brazil, USA, China and France (max 20 days/year). About the department Novo Nordisk Product Supply Injectable Finished Products (IFP) is an area within Novo Nordisk that is responsible for high volume production serving the diabesity and obesity markets. The IFP Business Support department is responsible for developing and optimising our supporting processes related to our manufacturing network, such as Finance, Procurement, Investments, Capacities, Business Development, Business Intelligence, Warehousing, Environment and cLEAN. Further, we are responsible for carrying out complex projects based on business need by implementing smarter ways of working via use of LEAN principles, automation and process digitalisation.
