As our new Associate Manager in API Finance, you will play a key role in the department as manager for 7-8 employees in our site in Kalundborg, with ownership of the financial processes across API with a budget of more than 6bDKK. In this role, you will: work closely together with your team of highly committed and professional employees. maintain a high level of drive and commitment so that your team performs well together in order to deliver the best possible support to API management and our production facilities. with visible leadership, sparring and coaching you will create a culture where everyone is ready to challenge methods, systems and processes and continuously make them better, smarter, and faster. Furthermore, you will have the overall view to evaluate performance and set the direction for the team. The tasks are generally of high complexity and require you to be a sparring partner to your employees, as well as to the finance managers functions across the API sites and to the senior management team in API. You will work closely with your manager focusing on creating unity in the department and securing the long-term strategic direction. You can look forward to a job with the opportunity to gain up-close knowledge about the finance processes in Novo Nordisk and an increased understanding of the business. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to develop your professional, personal and managerial competencies greatly through the job. The job is in Kalundborg with the possibility to work some days from home or from other locations.
Qualifications To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have: Master in relevant field (e.g. management accounting or financial accounting) combined with some years of experience within management, or experience as a project manager/specialist within finance and preferably production finance. Strong analytical and strategic skills, and the ability to deliver with high quality under pressure. Excellent stakeholder engagement/management skills along with the ability to build trusting relationships at all levels while driving agendas in an independent fashion. Skilled communicator and capable of making effective decision recommendations Fluent in spoken and written English.

Furthermore, the job requires a high level of structure and systematics in order to have an ongoing overview of strategy, the tasks and the team. It is crucial that you can motivate and engage your employees, preferably through your own strong commitment.
