About the department The Global Information Security Advisory department is part of Global Digital, Data and IT (DD&IT). You will be part of a global information security community with colleagues located primarily in Denmark, USA and India. Our team consists of leading experts in various areas ranging from network security, white hat hacking, cloud security, cryptography, security operations, Acquisitions & Integrations, to manufacturing security and security risk management and governance. The job As our new Senior Information Security Advisor, you will have the following key responsibilities:
  • Together with your colleagues identify focus areas, key priorities, and stakeholders to collaborate with in the Research & Development line of business.
  • Engage with stakeholders, identify risks and business impact, define security plans and deliverables, ensure buy-in and drive implementation of identified security initiatives across the value chain.
  • Communicate plans, progress, impediments, and outcome to stakeholders in line of business and within Global Information Security.
  • Contribute to on-going security initiatives such as cloud security, application security, classification & data protection, and supply chain security.
  • Contribute to development of our security framework and toolboxes.

  • A Master’s degree in IT, data science, information security, or another relevant field
  • A profound interests and experience in the field of information security. Preferable you have worked closely with line of business in an advisory capacity
  • At least five years of relevant experience in consulting, research and development, or a pharmaceutical organisation is preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of setting up and managing complex projects and cross-organisational initiatives
  • Proven ability to lead projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to solve complex problems independently by getting to the core and clearly communicating scenarios, impacts and recommendations to the decision-makers
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English, written and orally
