Then this is your moment as we are looking for a Senior Manager for Service Centre Hillerød (SCHi). The position The role requires an experienced manager with a service mindset and a high personal drive to execute operations and development on several fronts. You will be part of a management group with colleagues in similar positions from other sites in Novo Nordisk Denmark. The main responsibilities are:
  • Ensure stable operation in the critical supply areas by managing a team of competent colleagues who are passionate about their work and profession
  • Secure high people engagement through empowerment, being present and supporting development
  • Standardize and conceptualize the maintenance processes, so that the department's current area of responsibility can be scaled as the site grows
  • Use of technology and implementation of other approaches to solve the tasks, e.g. the use of externals, is a prerequisite for the department
  • Build solid networks with stakeholders at all levels at site Hillerød
  • Identify solutions and strategies to enable the site's growth in collaboration with employees and stakeholders
    • Qualifications To thrive and succeed you have:
  • Experience managing a large department within utility supplies, production, technical systems, or services
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to create relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
  • Track record in securing stability in an operational area which are highly affected by project activities
    • It is an advantage to have:
  • Academic degree in a technical field
  • Pharma industry experience

About the department SCHi is responsible for production-critical utility supplies and facility services for Novo Nordisk. The supplies include steam, water, electricity, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning, and more. The responsibility consists in ensuring stable and uninterrupted supplies via operation and maintenance as well as ongoing changes in the systems and energy data management and reporting. SCHi also plays an important role in building maintenance, engineering, and the general infrastructures on the site including construction projects and coordination between the various Novo Nordisk units at the site. Finally, SCHi has a growing role in coordination with the head office in Bagsværd, where SCHi must ensure that the corporate facility services are delivered effectively locally in Hillerød. Site Hillerød is undergoing strong expansion with a historical level of investments, which affects the operation and spawns many supply projects that SCHi must execute.
