If so, then you might be our new Security Advisor in Global Information Security. About the department The Global Information Security Advisory department is based in Digital, Data and IT (DD&IT) in Denmark. You will be part of a global information security community with colleagues located primarily in Denmark, USA and India. Our team consists of leading experts in various areas ranging from network security, white hat hacking, cloud security, cryptography, security operations, Acquisitions & Integrations, to manufacturing security and security risk management and governance. The Business Development Centre of Excellence drives the information security capabilities and advises both Line of Business and the DD&IT organisation on protecting our assets and ensuring scalable business processes. Global Information Security is a part of the acquisition, partnership and integration network in Novo Nordisk that collectively work on realising value from our strategic acquisitions, partnerships, and integrations The job As our new Security Advisor, you will have the following key responsibilities:
  • Support in conducting information security due diligence as a part of the overall due diligence setup in Novo Nordisk. Based on the deal rationale for Novo Nordisk, you identify value drivers within the target and work pragmatically in scoping the information security due diligence.
  • Together with the rest of the Global Information Security team, you act as an information security advisor to the Line of Business throughout the Novo Nordisk value chain. As an Information security business partner/advisor, we help the Line of Business identify risk and proactively develop mitigating solutions.
  • Actively participate in the continuous improvement of how we embed and work with information security aspects throughout the end-2-end M&A process.
  • You are managing the Information Security project within future integrations to ensure that Information Security is embedded throughout the integration program (IMO). You have a strong business orientation and have user experience in focus.
  • You will also work very closely with Security Partners focusing on our data classification & protection journey in Line of Business

  • A Master’s degree in IT, data science, information security, or another relevant field
  • A growth mindset and a profound interest in applying and learning information security
  • At least 2+ years of relevant experience in consulting (Information Security or similar), pharmaceutical organisation or M&A is preferred
  • Illustrate a user-centric approach - to become a trusted advisor to the Line of Business, it is important that you understand and develop solutions with a user-centric mindset
  • Relevant experience in consulting, pharmaceutical organisation or within M&A is preferred
  • Strong communication and presentation skills using relevant tools
  • Ability to successfully navigate internal dynamics
  • Experience working in a global matrix organisation is preferred
    • Limited travel is expected according to what is needed in connection to the role. The successful candidate You have strong interest and knowledge in information security and interpersonal skills with a high degree of flexibility. In addition, you possess a high intellectual capacity and have a strong personal drive and dedication. You are a strong communicator and fluent in English.
