Then you could be the new Associate Manager in Product Supply Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (PS API), Manufacturing Development (MDev) Process Support, Bagsværd.
The position
The team consists of 12 dedicated employees, who are responsible for IT and data, training, facility, cleaning process development, distillation, polymers and raw materials. The team is fairly new, so focus on trust and team building is essential. Your responsibilities include:
- to make sure that the team has the best possible conditions to succeed with the tasks they have at hand. - to promote a culture of continuous improvements and focus on automation and digitalization of processes and systems.
- to prioritize the tasks in the team and ensure optimal allocation of resources, and concurrently you take the relevant steps to develop both team and department further.
- to set a good example and lead the way to ensure that your employees obtain the right behavior and achieve the targets.
To succeed, you focus on creating a work environment that fosters job enthusiasm, and you match the requests and capabilities of your team. Finally, you seek to establish good collaboration with your stakeholders within PS API and outside. You will work out of Bagsværd, but as we support API manufacture in both Kalundborg and API US, some travel to primarily to Kalundborg must be expected.
Qualifications
To succeed you, have:
- a managerial experience from a similar role in a manufacturing company, which has given your insight into GMP, Quality in regulated areas, and LEAN.
- a degree within one of the Natural Sciences disciplines, and it will indeed be an advantage if you have experience within the team's area of responsibility.
- a keen eye for optimizing processes as well as improving your team’s working conditions. You must thrive in a changing environment and know how to motivate your employees during changes. You have a goal-oriented mindset. the will and skills to meet ambitious targets. Moreover, you have strong communication skills, a positive attitude as well as an inspiring and engaging behavior where you show that you take an interest in your employees’ well-being.

In PS API, we produce the pharmaceutical backbone of our many quality products. Process Support is part of Manufacturing Development, where six teams are responsible for the timely support of the many processes that create our products. We identify, develop, and implement optimisation opportunities and help colleagues navigate the waters of complex processes in a highly regulated environment and we support on all levels when issues arise, initiatives are implemented, and strategies are created. You will lead the Materials, Cleaning and Support team, which ensures the quality of raw materials, distillation and cleaning process for all products in PS API. This gives you one of the largest stakeholder management tasks, as the team supports throughout the supply chain, with a large impact on the success of Novo Nordisk. Within the department you are also responsible for securing the right level of training, support on IT and Data management and safeguarding the functionality of our building.
