The position As Business Support Director in DMS, you will head up a department of approximately 40 employees, have 4-6 direct reports , and be responsible for:
  • Maintaining and facilitating the strategic management processes and ensuring that the business development of the area is maintained in the interests of all stakeholders. This includes Business Plans and Business Reviews, annual wheel etc.
  • DMS Finance where you will be covering budgeting and follow-up for operations as well as investments together with the areas finance partner .
  • Coordinating, prioritizing and executing cLEAN® and digital transformation initiatives in collaboration with the individual departments’ stakeholders, and potential subcontractors.
  • Running and supporting local IT systems and support corporate IT projects or initiatives. Continuously developing the IT function and supporting the business plan through IT strategy both internally at the site and externally with suppliers.
  • Leading the Circular Factory, Environmental and Health & Safety (EHS) strategies through the area’s EHS coordinators to ensure we are piloting the ambition for becoming a circular manufacturing site. The team is also the single-point-of-entry to Corporate Facilities and responsible for daily oversight of the facility, canteen, 5S, house in order and securing maintenance plans.
  • Moreover, you will act as an active member of the BSN (Business Support Network) across Novo Nordisk sites. You will report directly to the Corporate Vice President and be part of DMS management team. Qualifications To be considered for this position, we expect you to:
  • Hold an academic degree in a relevant field
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of direct leadership experience
  • Be familiar with working in a support function (such as finance, strategy, business process, production support or business support)
  • Be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • It would be considered as an advantage if you have already worked within a manufacturing environment. As a person, you have excellent leadership skills and take pride in helping others to succeed. You know how to empower and energize your team. You thrive in working with and motivating people from different backgrounds. You have the ability to bring new ideas and are not afraid to take initiatives. Last but not least, you are good at making clear decisions and building processes to keep the house in order. About the department
    DMS is responsible for the global supply chain of components and pre-assembled parts to all Novo Nordisk devices. The Business Support department in DMS is responsible for Strategy, Finance, cLEAN® & Digitalisation, IT and EHS. In particular, the department drives all strategic and major cyclic business processes on behalf of the Corporate Vice President area, including budgeting Anchor Budget, Business Review, Target setting and strategy deployment. You will be part of a relatively new leadership team that thrive in supporting the sites and bringing innovative ideas and suggestion for improvement.
