Would you like to lead an innovative team in Novo Nordisk? Are you an experienced leader with a strong desire to make a lasting business impact in Product Supply, Quality & IT (PSQIT) by delivering data driven insights and recommendations within the productivity agenda? The position
The new Director will be responsible for leading a team of highly diverse professionals, who utilize backgrounds from i.a. engineering, economics, data science and finance to actively transform business insights into impactful improvement initiatives and deliver measurable results in close collaboration with stakeholders from our production sites. The results must support our ambition of maximizing production output and freeing up resources for more innovation activities.You are expected to be comfortable inHandling a high level of independence Taking proactive steps to shape a strategy that can challenge our organization in a positive way and deliver outstanding results Establishing a strong network and fostering collaboration with stakeholders, ranging from shopfloor in our production sites to senior management in PSQIT Actively supporting the PSQIT purpose of delivering the highest quality to patients in a sustainable and efficient way.
You will be a member of PSQIT Finance Management and the cross functional PSQIT Finance Leadership Team. The majority of your team will be located at our headquarter in Denmark, and you will be expected to visit our production sites around the world to facilitate change and foster innovation.
Qualifications
The job will require an experienced and proactive leader with excellent stakeholder management skills and an aptitude for delivering strategic excellence. Our ideal candidate has a master’s degree within business administration, finance, economics, engineering or a related field of study within the social sciences and have a proven track record with 8+ years of experience from similar managerial positions in the pharmaceutical sector.
You are a positive and open-minded team player with great communication skills and the ability to navigate in a diverse stakeholder landscape with both senior stakeholders from executive management as well as shopfloor leadership in our production sites. You have a continuous improvement mindset and as a person you are ambitious, proactive, engaged and attracted to a fast-paced working environment.Excellent communication skills in English are required and you must have a genuine interest in developing your employees and strive to make them perform optimally as a team.
About the department
Global Productivity Insights (GPI) is a part of PSQIT Finance, which, besides GPI, currently consists of our Production Accounting, Investments and Compliance team and Business Finance team. Overall, we are responsible for the financial management across PSQIT and driving finance partnering towards the senior management team of PSQIT.
The team has a unique understanding of productivity data and the process of generating business insights by bringing productivity data forward, making benchmarks internally and externally, and enabling line of business to better understand what is driving productivity.
The team consist of talents with diverse competences and backgrounds from fields such as Business Intelligence, cLEAN, Data Science, engineering as well as understanding of our production and manufacturing processes and finance.
