The position
As Senior Project Manager, you will head up projects and simplification initiatives anchored in Quality Systems (QS) and/or Novo Nordisk Quality (NNQ). The projects you will oversee, will be very different in character, depending on the actual initiative needed, however they will always involve implementation across all parts of Novo Nordisk and both within Quality and Line of Business organization. You will additionally follow up on benefit realisation for the projects in cooperation with the business.
These projects will have large business benefit across Novo Nordisk and you will use your leadership, project management competencies and positive attitude to guide, support and lead the project team to the advantage of the business.
You will be working anchored in Bagsværd but will collaborate with stakeholders from all around the globe, so you will have the opportunity to work across the value chain and gain broad knowledge of our processes across the business. Occasional travel activities are to be expected.
Qualifications
Leading quality projects across Novo Nordisk, requires a person with strong leadership & change management skills and an excellent quality mindset. You are recognised as a project manager who motivates high performing and engaged project teams. To succeed in this role, you:
• Have several years of experience working as Senior Project Manager driving complex projects in big organisations
• Have a proven track record of successfully driving projects from early ideas to realised benefits, and your projects are executed timely without compromising on quality
• Are excellent at collaborating positively with many different stakeholders at various organisational levels
• Have previously worked within the pharmaceutical industry
• Are proficient in English It will be an advantage if you have experience working with process simplification eg. LEAN tools, or if you are familiar with implementation of IT/digitalisation projects eg. Agile project execution. On a personal level, you are robust, structured, a self-starter and a great collaborator that always has a positive attitude. You know how to stay focused, despite changing demands or tight deadlines. You have strong stakeholder management and communication skills including the ability to communicate complex subjects in an easy and understandable way. About the department
Quality Project Office in QS, a part of NNQ, is responsible for driving various strategic simplification and digitalisation projects across our quality management processes. Our ambition is to drive projects that ensures a robust and simple quality management system that supports Novo Nordisk in maintaining world class quality in the future.
Because of the broad knowledge that Quality gives, you have a lot of options within the organization, and you will have a lot of room to influence our processes, partnering with the business to make decisions and find solutions together.
