Introduction: Leadership is a critical skill for Novo Nordisk to drive change, and developing leaders is one of our top P&O priorities this year. The Global Leadership Development Team builds and delivers scalable, impactful leadership development for 7,000+ Novo Nordisk leaders. Our solutions are grounded in the Novo Nordisk Way, ensuring leaders at all levels have the skills to perform. The position In this role, you will be responsible for managing the live face-to-face module in our new leader programs: LEAD and LEAD Talks. With approximately 1,300 new leaders each year, these programs provide the foundation for leadership expectations at Novo Nordisk. Most of the elements in these programs are virtual and/or self-directed, however, we are adding a live face-to-face event, called New Leaders Connect, in our Danish headquarters in 2024. After gaining an understanding of the content and typical participants in LEAD and LEAD Talks, you will project manage and orchestrate six or more 4-day New Leaders Connect events each year, bringing leaders from all over the world together physically in Denmark. This requires working closely with the content owners of LEAD and LEAD Talks to ensure the event maximises the application of learning. It also requires managing each event end-to-end, including planning and engaging internal and external partners, monitoring budget, designing and delivering communications materials, and consolidating and aligning slide decks/learning materials. This position plays a supportive role to internal speakers and external providers, coordinating tasks and timelines across all parties involved, and providing feedback and suggestions to improve the learner experience. While we primarily outsource facilitation of the sessions, the position does require some facilitation interventions, as well as comfort organising large groups of people and ensuring a seamless flow during the event. In addition, this position is responsible for enabling the live-streaming option for those leaders joining the event remotely through our digital campus. This role is tailored for a collaborative, detail-oriented, people-centric team player who values partnerships with stakeholders as a critical path to success. Qualifications To fulfil this role, your experience should reflect (but be not limited to) the following:
Bachelor’s or Master’s level or equivalent in relevant field e.g. HR, Business, Education, Psychology, Communications 1-5 years’ experience in Leadership Development, Human Resources, Event Planning, Training and/or Organizational Development Experience managing end-to-end global learning events, including needs analysis, instructional design, deployment, evaluation and continuous innovation Exceptional communication skills and detail orientation to add special touches to the events Skilled facilitator who can interact comfortably and confidently with a large group of leaders Relationship management skills to partner with a variety of vendors and internal stakeholders Experience working in a global, matrixed organization preferred About the department The 50 members of the Talent, Learning and D&I Centre of Excellence (CoE) works in partnership with the global HR Business Partner community to develop a culture of life-long learning at Novo Nordisk.
