The position We are looking for a Senior Director for our QA department of 71 highly qualified employees led by an engaged and experienced leadership team with 5 associate managers and the director responsible for all QA activities related to our aseptic production in Gentofte. You will assume a key role in continuing to lead, develop and shape the Quality Assurance department on how we work with quality assurance. You will be heading up a department where key behaviours are driving our culture and where setting direction for quality is driven through quality oversight and our ability to support and drive improvements. Therefore, engagement and communication with all levels of employees from CVP to operators in the Plant is a key part of the job. Moreover, you will:
  • Drive and support the quality culture in close collaboration with our stakeholders in BRD to ensure that the quality of products and processes are compliant with external and internal GMP requirements
  • Manage and lead highly skilled personal (Specialists, Professionals, Laboratory Technicians) in a very complex environment and ensure collaboration across boundaries
  • Navigate your own management team and participate actively in the BRD Gentofte management team achieving common goals
  • Ensure Quality Mindset and cLEAN mindset and drive performance to reach BRD and Site goals
  • Build and maintain close collaboration with the production unit and other stakeholders across Novo Nordisk and ensure overall, that we as a company can deliver products at highest quality
    • In your role, you will refer directly to the Corporate Vice President of BRD QA and be a member of the BRD QA management team. In this management group you will have an important role in leading and developing the BRD QA organisation together with the rest of the management team, as well as driving prioritisation, strategies and setting direction for quality and compliance across sites. Qualifications To succeed in this position, you have:
  • M.Sc. degree in pharmacy, engineering or similar and substantial experience related to quality assurance in a pharmaceutical production
  • Experience in leadership and ability to lead through other as well as coaching and motivating your own direct reports to deliver their best
  • Knowledge of cGMP, FDA (210/211) and ISO 9001
  • S trong oral and written communication skills in both Danish and English
  • Understanding and experience in working with processes, facility, and equipment in an aseptic production environment
