Then, you may be the Supply Planner we are looking for in Inbound Supply Management.
About the department
The Packaging Material department are part of Sourcing Operations (SoOp) and are responsible for planning, purchasing, distribution and warehousing of the thousands of materials going into Novo Nordisk production worldwide. Our common goal is to ensure reliable supply of quality products (packaging materials) in regulatory compliance at a competitive cost to Novo Nordisk manufacturing sites globally. You will join a dynamic team of 10 employees responsible for driving and optimising the inbound supply chain across SoOp on an operational level. Part of the strategy is to be more robust, effective and efficient while ensuring a high service level to our customers.
The job You will be responsible for securing the supply of packaging materials on daily basis while also driving optimization initiatives. The scope of the initiatives can vary, e.g. mainly towards inventory, order management and forecasting process, but also towards the suppliers and the manufacturing sites on an operational level. You are expected to identify better practices, drive process improvements and act as a role model in the team and department. You will be managing internal and external stakeholders on different levels and good communication skills are needed and expected. Further, you will be responsible for specific items, and will ensure deliveries to production on time by monitoring inventory levels, prioritise needs from production, place purchase orders and coordinate activities with internal and external stakeholders to secure availability of released material. In essence, this is a job with a high degree of independence, split between daily operational tasks and projects. By optimizing and standardizing daily operational tasks across the team, it is expected that the degree of projects and initiatives will increase in time.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has: A degree in Supply Chain Management or similar field 2-3 years relevant experience You are a high performer and have proven skills within; process optimization, stakeholder management, communication and change management. You have a strong analytical mindset – both in terms of data and processes. You communicate effectively, meet deadlines and approach tasks in a structured way and you are driven by making a difference. You are a dedicated team player who inspires trust amongst colleagues and partners and you see continuous improvement as a natural part of your job, and you thrive in a dynamic environment with many simultaneous tasks and changing priorities.
