As a Senior Manager, Head of BI & Analytics, you must enjoy the manager role, be able to set the direction for the team, actively participate in identifying and prioritising new business intelligence initiatives across PSQIT and ensuring that everyone in the team have the sufficient support, engagement and tools required to succeed in their jobs. Furthermore, you will take part in our digital transformation journey, driving the finance agenda via high quality business insights. As our new Senior Manager, Head of BI & Analytics, you will be a part of driving our digital strategy by: • Driving value creation by translating business challenges into data-driven insights using SQL, Alteryx, and Tableau.
• Developing a strong data foundation to ensure a robust data ecosystem and data excellence, supporting process running with minimum human touch.
• Continuously enhancing our current data sources, models, and dashboards by utilising data, analytics and managing governance to ensure accuracy and reliability of our BI tool and PSQIT Finance data assets.
• Building sustainable business intelligence solutions that supports the increasing production complexity.
• Utilising and further develop best practises, development processes, analytics architecture & governance.
Qualifications
To be a great asset to our team you will have:
• Master’s degree in information technology, engineering, economics or similar.
• Extensive experience working with end-to-end BI solutions.
• Experience in managing teams, preferably within data/BI, and proven ability to manage complex data projects from concept to implementation.
• Understanding business data, data structures, data models
• Ability to explain technical decisions and tailor the message according to the audience. Furthermore, we expect you to collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in data analysis and reporting. You are expected to support the business in critical finance process such as monthly closings and budget rounds by ensuring the tools and data flows run smoothly and stay updated on industry trends and best practices in BI and data analytics. Great interpersonal skills are a must since the job will include considerable interaction with stakeholders across the globe. Your stakeholders will be a very diverse group of people ranging from very technical data analysts, data engineers and data scientists to people with deep functional business knowledge within finance, supply chain, quality, and IT to management at different levels. Our ambition is to build a Centre of Excellence for the global PSQIT Finance community by getting a unique understanding of finance and production data, generating business insights while bringing data forward. Furthermore, focus on automate scalable and efficient BI solutions with robust data models while creating intuitive dashboards and reports to help our various stakeholders to drive the performance and decision-making. Business Intelligence & Analytics Team is composed by several BI partners, consisting of both technically heavy developers and BI partners with finance acumen and focus on digitalization.
