Then join us as Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator in our growing are Fill Finish Expansions, supporting investment projects across the globe from Lyngby, Denmark. The position As an HS Coordinator you will have great impact on the future whole organisation by driving strategies, and targets to promote and sustain the engagement for EHS. You will work across multiple investment projects at different global locations to support the implementation of EHS processes and activities which create compliant and innovative EHS solutions and help Novo Nordisk to continuously improve our operations. This role involves a great variation of tasks, including:
  • Advising on different HS subjects, such as chemical hazards, noise, and emergency response.
  • Providing design inputs for equipment, facilities, and processes.
  • Participating in HAZOPs, risk assessments, and design reviews, among others.
  • Assessing HS impact when changes are made to processes, equipment, or facilities.
  • Performing supplier evaluation in relation to Health & Safety
    • Travel activities are expected a few times a year, with an estimated duration of 1-2 weeks per quarter. Qualifications You have excellent time management skills and can easily change priorities in an organization with frequent changes. You possess great analytical skills and a structured work style, allowing you to have a great overview and complete tasks even in busier periods. To succeed in this position, you should:
  • Preferably hold a bachelor's or master's degree in technical studies, although other relevant education will be considered.
  • Have over 5 years of experience in Health & Safety, with a strong background in process safety, risk assessment, and HS management.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are a requirement for this position, as you will work with various personalities. You are expected to be outgoing, engaged, and bring a can-do attitude. You take pride in motivating and engaging colleagues and managers. Previous experience with process safety and HS aspects at pharmaceutical companies within Aseptic production, QC Laboratories, or Warehouse is advantageous. About the department As EHS Coordinator you are part of the Program Management Office (PMO) and you will report to the head of Tech Execution. You will facilitate EHS collaboration and alignment across production sites and projects in multiple locations across the globe. As colleagues you will find very experienced engineers, production specialists, schedulers, cost controllers etc. You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approximately 25,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 55,000 employees. Fill & Finish Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and build all major fill & finish investment projects across PSQIT to serve the needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our fill & finish facilities with the use of modern technology, as well as rethinking how to deliver investment projects.
