As our new SAP Finance Architect, you will be part of a small architect group responsible for defining the architectural vision for Global Finance in Novo Nordisk at a time where Novo Nordisk is going from SAP ECC to SAP S/4 HANA. Your primary focus will be to prepare the S/4HANA migration together with a team of SAP Finance specialists having a pipeline full of topics like simplification items, code remediation, data archiving, and integrations. Further, you will be guiding development and delivery of solutions built in SAP ECC to ensure compatibility with a future S/4HANA system, and you will have the opportunity to drive the design of the future finance system landscape with SAP BTP and Fiori being new technologies.This position will give you a unique opportunity to work and collaborate with skilled SAP colleagues across departments, teams, and areas, and will therefore be a great opportunity to engage with different stakeholders across Novo Nordisk. To foster close collaboration with the various Finance functions we work in a SAFe setup, and you will become an integral part of the Finance, Legal, and Global Solutions Agile Release Train (ART).Your main responsibilities include: Define and oversee the architectural vision for systems supporting finance processes with special focus on SAP FI/CO and BTP/Fiori/UI5, both in an ECC and S/4HANA context
Engage Line of Business stakeholders to guide on best practices and relevant solution requirements needed for the migration to SAP S/4 HANA
Provide guidance on solution design, scoping, and requirements for new finance solutions
Foster built-in quality, technical agility, and architectural compliance within the Finance, Legal & Global Solutions ART
Strengthen the cross-functional collaboration between current ECC teams and the S/4HANA programme, ensuring that the right solutions are implemented to support a successful S/4HANA implementation
What we are looking for
For this role, we imagine that you have significant technical insight into SAP Finance and Controlling as well as SAP BTP/Fiori/UI5 and have experience bringing technical expertise into practice. In addition, we see that our new colleague will be able to tick most of the following boxes: Experience as a system architect, solution architect, or similar within the field of SAP ECC and S/4HANA, incl. finance process design and defining system requirements
Experience working on larger migration projects, with complex architectural and stakeholder landscape
Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate and facilitate an involving and constructive dialogue with a wide range of stakeholders
A collaborative mindset, and a willingness to support and spar with other members of the architect group
On a personal level, you demonstrate agility and adapt quickly to change. You have excellent stakeholder management skills, balancing the needs of the business while guiding on best practices.
