The position As a Digital Learning & Development Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for developing digital training content and solutions. You will be driving your projects and ensuring the quality of the final solution, using the internal and external resources needed to help you develop cutting edge solutions to transform digital training within our company. The role will be managing the development of digital solutions from the very first phase:
  • Identifying Business Challenges, training needs and learning objectives
  • Developing digital solutions (e.g. VR and e-learning) and writing and visualising storyboards in collaboration with developers and training partners
  • Developing training & guidelines to ensure support of Training Professionals working with different digital training solutions (i.e. as developers, implementers or end users)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and projects in LoB, NN Quality, Global P&O and Global HR on digital training development & solutions
  • The primary target group consist of the Operators, Supporters, Laboratory Technicians and their Managers at our production’s sites, and all training solutions aim to provide optimal support of their competence development and performance. Your work is carried out in a global context with multiple stakeholders across all levels and countries. Written communication is in English and so are most meetings with stakeholders. To be successful you will need the ability to learn and understand production processes to address competency gaps and business objectives the digital training solutions. The job is in Bagsværd, Denmark, and we provide flexible working options. Qualifications Our ideal candidates have a solid and recent track record of developing concepts for digital training solutions. They can manage the entire process of creating a learning needs analysis in collaboration with end users and process experts, writing a storyboard, work with digital content developers to produce the final solution and measure the effect of solution on the target group. Furthermore, to succeed in this role, you have:
  • A Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) within Education, Learning & Development, Psychology (or similar)
  • Strong experience and knowledge within Instructional Design & development and User Experience design
  • Experience within developing Digital Training solutions and Digital Content production (Online training/Learning & Development via digital tools, Learner Experience platforms, e-learning, Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality)
  • Extensive Project and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with interaction across professional areas
  • Ideally an understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, pharmaceutical production and drug development processes
  • The stakeholder landscape will be broad including production units, process experts and training professionals across Novo Nordisk. Therefore, you are expected to have strong communication and presentation skills in English both written and verbally including the ability to express ideas and knowledge effectively. About the department The position is in the team Training Technologies & Standards (TT&S), which is anchored in the Global People & Organisation (HR), in the department of Training & Capability Building, consisting of 100+ training professionals. We focus specifically on job-specific training supporting employees working within the regulated production areas in Product Supply, Quality & IT. The Digital Training team anchored within TT&S as a competent team with strong training capabilities and services towards the line of business. TT&S is globally responsible for the training standards used in the production areas, competence development offerings to the global training organization and LoB, the development of digital content such as videos and e-learning, and the use of technologies such as AR and VR in regulated training. The team consists of experienced Learning & Development Consultants and Training Developers responsible for setting direction and supporting the global training organization and the end users at the local production sites. The team works closely with Subject Matter Experts from line of business, Training Partners, and Project Managers within the training organisation.
