As Communication Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving and enhancing processes for external communication in Product Supply, Quality & IT (PSQIT). This involves handling investment projects, acquisitions, and sustainability efforts, working closely with colleagues throughout Novo Nordisk, including Public Affairs, Media Relations, and local Communication Partners. In this role, you can also look forward to: • Shaping internal and external narratives for PSQIT's sustainability efforts
• Playing a key role in delivering internal strategic communication initiatives
• Collaborating with communication colleagues within the team and across the organization
• Benefiting from frequent senior management interaction and engagements
• Building a robust network while enhancing communication and project management skills You will report to the Director of PSQIT Communication. You can also expect to become a be part of the Novo Nordisk Global Communicators’ Network and other informal networks. Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have: • An educational background within communication or journalism
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a communication professional, working with both internal and external communication
• Experience in driving external communication and strategic communication projects yourself
• Experience in dealing with media regarding corporate messages and knowledge on the do’s & don’ts about external communication
• Proficiency in crafting clear, concise communication, visually engaging presentations, videos, and articles to captivate the audience's interest
• Fluency in English – written and spoken Specific experience with communication of investment projects or sustainability will be considered as a plus. As a person, you're a strategic thinker with a results-driven approach, skilled in simplifying complex processes and managing stakeholders effectively. In a small and agile team, you excel in diverse communication tasks and strategic initiatives. As a trusted partner, you provide valuable input to senior leaders and project managers, finding energy in crafting key messages and creating engaging content on topics like sustainability or business strategy. PSQIT is the largest organisational unit in Novo Nordisk with more than 27,500 employees globally across five continents. The area is responsible for the full supply chain of all Novo Nordisk products, the quality assurance of all Novo Nordisk activities and for providing an IT platform that caters for all business needs.
You will be part of PSQIT Communication which is a small team within PSQIT Executive Office which directly supports the Executive Vice President and the senior management team within this department.
