The position
As a Mechanical Engineer your overall objective is to formulate and develop mechanical concepts and solutions to optimize our filling lines. You will become a part of the collaborative team that supports each other and finds new ways to improve the processes. Your tasks will be very varied and include idea generation, design of mechanical solutions, testing and coordination. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Drawing the mechanical designs in CAD
Improving the design after test interpretation, and making the ideas come to life by implementation in our global production network
Providing support to projects as well as coordinating projects, depending on your experience
Moreover, the projects that you will be involved in will have different stakeholders such as Aseptic Production (AP) specialists in different production sites in Denmark, China, Brazil, France, and the U.S. Please note that this position requires 2-4 weeks of travel per year. Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have: At least B.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar; recent graduates are encouraged to apply
Knowledge of CAD systems like SolidWorks, AutoDesk Inventor and Creo
Experience in robust design will be considered an advantage
Professional proficiency in English

You are passionate about developing new mechanical solutions and enjoy working in a team. Moreover, you are outgoing and eager to search for opportunities in partnerships with stakeholders. When navigating among multiple stakeholder interests - your communication and interpersonal skills are essential tools on your road to success. You will be a part of the Mechanical Innovation & Development Team in Manufacturing Development in IFP, Product Supply. Your working place will be both at our global specialist center in Bagsværd (main office) and our test factory in Kalundborg. We are a very international department with experience ranging from students to highly experienced subject matter experts. We guarantee that you will be exposed to exciting challenges and development opportunities. You will start with a comprehensive onboarding.
