The position
As our new Senior Project Manager– Filling Loop Technology you will be part of our newly established “Future Proofing Aseptic Production” team within our Novo Nordisk Injectable Finished Products organisation and report to the responsible program director.
Target of the program is to ensure GPM compliance of our current filling line equipment and fulfil future authority expectations. Within the program we push innovation, develop new technology platforms, and perform major equipment upgrades of exiting filling lines.
As our Senior Project Manager for Filling Loop Technology Projects, you will set strategic direction for the technology roadmap of our fluid pathway technology platform. Together with a team of highly skilled engineers and subject matter experts, you will redesign the filling loop of our current filling lines to ensure readiness for future requirements.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Prioritisation of activities and setting direction
Managing timelines, deliverables, and resources as well as suppliers, consultants, external partners, and authorities
Structuring work packages, and guiding project team members
Ensuring documentation and validation of solutions
Preparation of decisions and reporting to management

As your projects will be cross-borders, some travelling would be expected, this is estimated up to 10%.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have: An academic degree within engineering, pharmaceutical science, economics or similar
Experience as a Project Manager or by leading projects ideally, in the pharmaceutical industry which includes aseptic production and filling technology
Teamwork approach and are able to quickly build strong working relationships
Professional proficiency in English

As you have a structured approach to your work, you can juggle several tasks while prioritising your efforts optimally by keeping the bigger picture in mind. Our VP area IFP Technology Innovation is responsible for technology development that will ensure that our brand new IFP aseptic production sites and our existing sites use the latest technologies and processes. We play an essential role for the future of Novo Nordisk, and we are expected to be the front runners for development of new technologies, but also to set ambitious goals and deliver the needed solutions for the future aseptic production.
Within our Future Proofing AP department, we ensure equipment of existing facilities is compliant and efficient based on technology platform development, life-cycle management strategy, and execution gameplan and in close collaboration with our aseptic production sites in China, France, Denmark, Brazil, and the United States.
