The position
As our new Portfolio Manager– Future Proofing Aseptic Production you will be part of our newly established “Future Proofing Aseptic Production” team within our Novo Nordisk Injectable Finished Products organisation and report to the responsible program director.
Target of the program is to ensure GPM compliance of our current filling line equipment and to fulfil future authority expectations. Within the program we push innovation, develop new technology platforms, and perform major equipment upgrades of exiting filling lines. As our Portfolio Manager– Future Proofing Aseptic Production, you will set strategic direction for the technology development and implementation roadmap targeting the reduction of our filling line interventions and environmental deviations.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Prioritisation of projects and setting strategic direction
Definition of requirements and pre-scoping of projects
Performing analysis and reporting on portfolio KPIs
Guiding project managers and global internal stakeholders
Preparation of decisions and reporting to top management

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have: An academic degree within engineering, pharmaceutical science, economics or similar
Experience as a Project Manager or by leading projects ideally in pharmaceutical industry within filling technology in aseptic production
Teamwork approach and can quickly build strong working relationships
Professional proficiency in English

As you have a structured approach to your work, you can juggle several tasks while prioritising your efforts optimally by keeping the bigger picture in mind. Moreover, you excel in communicating with various stakeholders across all organisational levels.
About the department
Our VP area IFP Technology Innovation is responsible for technology development that will ensure that our brand new IFP aseptic production sites and our existing sites use the latest technologies and processes. We play an essential role for the future of Novo Nordisk, and we are expected to be the front runners for development of new technologies, but also to set ambitious goals and deliver the needed solutions for the future aseptic production.
Within our Future Proofing AP department, we ensure equipment of existing facilities is compliant and efficient based on technology platform development, life-cycle management strategy, and execution gameplan and in close collaboration with our aseptic production sites in China, France, Denmark, Brazil, and the United States.
