The position
As Big Tech Alliance Lead, you will have the responsibility for: Setting up new capabilities: Establish and run a Big Tech alliance management service, scouting and collecting ideas and new technologies from major technology companies such as Microsoft, Apple, and Alphabet. Pipeline management and strategic evaluation: Screen, evaluate, and select ideas for future development in line with needs across the value chain. By building a deep understanding of both Novo Nordisk business priorities combined with insights into the existing and emerging capabilities of our potential partners you will establish the function as the go-to place for partner driven innovation.
Go to market and partnership management: Play a key role as the alliance bridge with external companies, establishing partnership strategies, identifying new opportunities, and monitoring progress on programs across the value chain. Working closely with a wide variety of internal stakeholders you will champion a one-team culture in order to drive and embed new pilots and projects.
Business model innovation and analysis: Lead the identification of new partner opportunities and Big Tech partnering strategies to support the execution of business unit’s strategic ambitions. You will help translate the strategic goals of both organizations into executable projects.
Candidate profile
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Proven experience in alliance management, preferably with major technology companies
Strong understanding of the technology landscape and trends
Ideally an understanding of the challenges and opportunities of innovating within the pharmaceutical industry and/or within the everyday healthcare space
Proven ability to shape and deliver complex projects in large multi-national and often matrix structured organizations
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external partners with varied cultures and strategic aims
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional projects and teams
Understanding of contracts and agreement frameworks as well as the ability to interpret contractual responsibilities of both parties
Ability to think strategically and identify new opportunities for partnership and collaboration
