The position As our H&S Professional, your primary responsibility is to drive the health and safety agenda across the area. Collaborating with diverse representatives, office employees, and acting as a trusted partner to the management group, you ensure the professional execution of HS standard processes, including audits, risk-, and assessments or reporting. Some of your main tasks entail:
  • Overseeing daily health & safety operations, ensuring adherence to ISO45001 regulations across all processes
  • Playing a pivotal role in integrating health and safety processes within the management system
  • Collecting pertinent data and overseeing incident monitoring systems, establishing templates to streamline emergency response procedures
  • Partnering with H&S representatives on changes affecting health and safety in work processes
  • Leading both internal and external audits, conducting training sessions, and coordinating annual planning activities, facilitating H&S management reviews
    • Qualifications To be successful in this role, we imagine you:
  • Hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field combined with practical experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrate professional expertise in leading programs and delivering results, preferably in H&S within a manufacturing environment
  • Possess solid knowledge of local legislative requirements and standards like ISO45001
  • Showcase the ability to develop and influence business objectives and strategic projects to reflect health and safety priorities
  • Display fluency in both spoken and written English

About the department You will join the senior vice president (SVP) area in Contract Manufacturing, Sourcing, and Devices, which is responsible for all product portfolios, external contributors and on behalf of Product Supply, Quality & IT (PSQIT). This includes strategic sourcing and sourcing operations, manufacturing and development of devices and needles, management of all contract manufacturers, and local manufacturing.
